She seems to be one of those hard keepers, but it didn't seem to happen till this year. She was sold to a client but, they lost interest in her as they are now into performance reining type quarter horses. She came back thin and out of shape. I started to worry about how long it has taken me to get weight back on her. I'd like to try the Proviable! She's a very sensible intelligent mare. Also has been spayed. I am still concerned with her gaining back muscle tone on her topline and loins which she'd lost in the past year, but we're gaining ground I believe. Not sure if I should continue with the laydown, sit-up and bow right now or wait till she has regained her muscling. Have some video of her on youtube www.youtube.com/user/sixgunskaren
Keep up the super cool work!
Karen Jones (KJ)

I'm interested in more information about Proviable...

I'm interested in more information about Proviable, as Estes has always been fit, but thin, and I'm having a hard time keeping weight on her. She's pretty much an easy keeper, but as I was reading about Dually, I saw glimpses of her in your descriptions. We've added black oil sunflower seeds to her diet, which already consisted of non-molasses beet pulp, flax oil and grass hay.

She's fairly sensitive, but not spooky. I just have to be careful with my legs on her, because if I'm not paying attention, we could end up a long way away from where we started.

I'll be interested to read about the barrel racer and see how he does on it.
